Stained Glass

The banner for our website is a detail from our stained glass window on the north side of the building.  The panels are placed by people from the church who want to honour the memory of those who have contributed to their walk of faith.

We have another set on the south side of the sanctuary that changes with the seasons.  It overlooks a ravine that most of the year is green or grey and white but at this time of year rivals its counterpart on the north.

I've always appreciated windows in a church for their opportunity to daydream during the service, especially to let the view speak to us (as in Psalm 1 and Psalm 19).

For those of us who need a reminder of the warmer weather that will return, here is another of Thupten's images, from our late summer garden at Forest Grove.
