Worth Watching

At least a little bit at a time.  Last night I attended a presentation by the Ontario Brain Institute about the mental health of Indigenous persons.  It's one of the fastest 2 hours I've ever sat through;  so much information, so much sadness, so much misunderstanding, so many possibilities.

I have a better appreciation for Indigenous spirituality and the barriers they face to enjoying wellness:  "Health is a political construct, not a biological or technical process." (Shah and Stewart, 2011).  Here is video of the evening. Watch it all at once, or don't.  Please watch it.
