What are you thankful for?

Many of us will spend time this week and coming weekend considering what makes us thankful. When asked, some may even speak about the country and city in which we live. With all our complexities, there is reason to be thankful for the freedoms and standard of living and health outcomes we enjoy. For many of us. For others life is a struggle, even in Toronto, our nation’s largest and wealthiest urban area. We stand first in many things, including child poverty. Social Planning Toronto released, today, it’s report on child poverty in Toronto. You can read it here. Then, this week, consider using your influence to move others, especially our elected officials and corporate leaders to share the bounty.
